The Overview

Edgewood is an East Atlanta neighborhood on the rise, just beyond Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park, where classic bungalows are being renovated block by block. It offers intown access and character at a more attainable entry point than its better-known neighbors.

Homes and Architecture

The housing stock is anchored by 1920s bungalows, many mid-renovation or recently restored, mixed with newer infill. For buyers who want to be inside the city without the price of the marquee neighborhoods, Edgewood is one of the clearest values on the east side.

Life in Edgewood

The Edgewood Retail District puts everyday shopping right in the neighborhood, and the Atlanta Streetcar and nearby BeltLine access connect residents to Downtown, Old Fourth Ward, and the Eastside Trail. Reynoldstown and Kirkwood are next door.

Parks and Green Space

Residents are close to the BeltLine and the parks of the surrounding east-side neighborhoods, with Downtown and its greenspaces a short ride away.

Schools

Edgewood is served by Atlanta Public Schools. Assignments and attendance zones change, so confirm the current zoning for any specific address. Richard can walk you through it.
